Baby's First Christmas

Christmas Eve

John's Baptism

John was baptized on Sunday, December 23rd 2007 at Third Christian Reformed Church in Kalamazoo by Pastor Ken Baker. It was a great day. He was so good during the service and enjoyed the music. He didn't cry- he loves water! It was a memorable day. His Oma and Opa were there, Aunt Suzee, Tal and Ron (Tal's Grandpa), Aunt Missy and cousin Gavi came down from Grand Rapids, Aunt Megan, Great Uncle Bob came all the way from New Jersey, Grandma and Grandpa Hawver (from Dearborn) with Evan, Luke and Ryan, Grandma Ann (Joe's mom) and Aunt Meagan (came from Dearborn) and our wonderful friends Christy and Alex who live in Alexandria, Virginia and came to meet John and be there for his big day. It was a special day and one we will never forget.

Baby Face

Baby in Winter

Family Outing.

Winter Traveling.

This is actually the blanket I made for Tal when he was born, but John likes it too.
John, Karon and I at our work Christmas Party. John was the big hit.
John in his new favorite position- the kangaroo position. This way he can see everything.

He doesn't eat food yet (only breast milk) but he wanted to try the high chair since he saw Gavi in it.

Detroit Lions Fan. Already. But he prefers to watch basketball.
